Karel Reisz directed this - before directing 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning' and helping to start the 'British New Wave' in Cinema - focusing on realistic portrayals of working class Britain. The Documentary is set in Lambeth, south London, at a time when young people were claimed to be unruly and out of control - Elvis Presley had not long appeared and rock and roll had hit our shores...
